During one of his trips, the veteran actor Prakash Raj had an epiphany that led him back to the world of theatre. He found himself pondering whether to act, direct, or pursue a different path to create an impact. Ultimately, he decided to establish an innovative theatre incubator named Nirdigantha, which translates to "endless horizons." This incubator aims to nurture creativity and innovation in the performing arts, providing a space for young theatre enthusiasts to hone their skills.

Prakash Raj expressed his motivation to cultivate talent, empower artists, and encourage diverse artistic expressions. The incubator offers directors and actors the opportunity to develop original plays with comprehensive support such as funding, accommodations, and other necessities for up to 45 days. The resulting productions are then taken on tour for three months, offering practical experience and exposure to the artists.

With a vision to expand theatre beyond Bengaluru and tap into talent from various regions, Prakash Raj aims to bridge the gap between different art forms. He reminisced about a time when literature, theatre, art, and cinema converged harmoniously, highlighting a current lack of synergy among these disciplines. By initiating the theatre incubator, he took the first steps towards bringing these artistic realms together once again.Aspiring theater artists. My goal is to establish a space for pure artistic exploration, rather than a platform for activism or stagnation. Theater is recognized as a valuable educational tool. The incubator has launched a research-based project called Shalaranga, which aims not to train children in theater, but to serve as a research endeavor. When examining education systems in Western countries, UNESCO's curriculum guidelines, or the fundamental needs of education, there is an emphasis on social justice, sensitivity, and a scientific mindset. Although our approach to teaching math and science is effective, we strive to incorporate other elements to foster inclusivity and innovation. Recognizing theater as a crucial educational tool, we have created a curriculum aligned with the vision of an enriched educational system. Our team of 12 members undergoes three months of training, travels to various locations, and stages numerous performances annually. We meticulously document the impact of our entire process.

The audience is now pan-Indian, not the films themselves. "Since the pandemic, audiences have shown a greater interest in pan-Indian content. It's not just about the films; the audience is becoming more diverse. It's fantastic to observe collaborative efforts from various industries aimed at uniting different cultures," states Prakash Raj. Currently immersed in working on movies in multiple languages, the actor finds languages intriguing. Each language possesses unique qualities - therein lies its beauty. To truly connect with an audience, one must deeply understand their language. This drives me to engulf myself in each language when tackling a new role.
